Mark Kim

Mark (Namyoung) Kim is the Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at LG Technology Ventures. He leads strategic collaborations between portfolio companies and LG affiliates and oversees communications with Limited Partners (LPs) to maximize investment outcomes. Mark brings over 20 years of experience across multiple LG Group affiliates, including LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Fuel Cell Systems (a joint venture with Rolls-Royce Group), and LG Corp. His background spans corporate strategy, technology planning, business development, and open innovation. Prior to joining LG Technology Ventures in 2021, he managed LG Group’s open innovation initiatives at LG Science Park and supported group-wide energy business strategies at LG Corp’s Energy Task Force Team. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two children and spending time outdoors playing soccer, basketball, and golf.
