Sungkwon started his career with LG in January 2012 and has held various R&D and corporate roles within LG Group, including LG Chem – Life Sciences, LG Corp – Tech Center, and LG Tech Ventures.

Before joining LG in Silicon Valley, Sungkwon was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on chemical, energy, semiconductor, healthcare, and biopharma industries.

Sungkwon holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and B.S. dual degrees with Honors in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Virginia Tech.
